Green Charitable Trust is a non profitable, non communal, non governmental organization serving the needs of rural population in Perambalur district since inception. We wish that our rural women, youth and farmers should take part in administration and decision making process from grass root level. Our women, youth and farmers are being groomed under “Group Consciousness” to get every success in their life. Our trust has a set of objectives and goals towards rural development and women empowerment. Based on these objectives we implemented various programmes in this year.

Our Activities
Trainings organized by of Green Charitable Trust
SHG training
A total of 58 SHGs have been formed by our organisation in Perambalur district. We facilitated these SHGs to receive linkages and loans from various banks and financial Institutions as follows in this year.
Evening tuition center
Green Charitable Trust is conducting evening tuition centers in 5 villages in Perambalur district with the financial and moral support of donors, well wishers etc., from the year 2022.
Livelihood promotion.
Livelihood promotion training includes vocational skills development, financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills and basic management skills, such as teamwork, problem solving, and project management.
Skill & vocational training Tailoring & computer trainings
We conducted skill development programme on Tailoring and garment making to our SHG members. For this purpose we have possessd a training center at Peramathur with a capacity of 40 trainees.
RCH & health awareness to women and adolescent girls
Promoting adolescent health is an important part of the Reproductive and Child Health in their life. If girls and women are to live healthy and productive lives, with dignity, menstrual hygiene is a priority.
Anti human trafficking club formation and awareness
Women and Children are often trafficked for commercial sexual exploitation or for labor, such as domestic servitude, agricultural work, factory work and mining, or they’re forced to fight in conflicts.
Environment and climate change program
The polluted environments lead to global warming and climate change. The global warming and climate change affect all the development of human beings. It affects agriculture, raise the temperature level, affects the health condition of human beings as well as livestock etc.
Micro credit and micro enterprises orientation
Micro credit and Micro Entrepreneurship orientation meeting Programmes are being organized regularly to nurture the talent of youth by enlightening them on various aspects of industrial/business activity required for setting up MSEs.
Road safety awareness program
Road safety education or awareness is as essential as any other basic skills of survival. We conducted road safety awareness programmes to auto drivers to disseminate road safety information to auto rickshaw drivers to encourage safer road user
